RAW File Work Flow Class Specifics:
Take control of your digital SLR camera. After a review of basic camera functions and controls, we'll concentrate on getting the most from your digital SLR's RAW format. We cover custom white balance and advanced camera features that will boost your accuracy and productivity. The following topics are covered in detail.
-Basics of digital color. The differences between JPEG and RAW formats.
-Achieving optimal white balance for color accuracy.
-Why in-camera exposure compensation is so important.
-Understanding your in-camera histogram.
A good post-processing raw workflow unlocks the potential in your raw files. We will take you through a typical editing session that covers the complete workflow process, from downloading, to optimizing the final image.
-Batch processing during the download. A universal RAW format, Adobe
DNG.
-Choosing a color space during raw conversion (Pro Photo RGB, Adobe
RGB, sRGB.)
-Adobe Camera RAW controls. Synchronizing files and saving multiple
edits.
-Composite files formats and getting ready to print.
